Why is this important?
The painted surfaces of these profiles have to endure a lot. They are continuously exposed to air pollution such as dust/sand and acid rain (Volatile Organic Compounds) as well as UV and infrared radiation from the sun. As a result, a white powder develops on the paint over time, which anchors itself even deeper into the paint (textured paint) and can damage the profiles almost irreparably in the long term.
To prevent this damage, it is advisable for the profiles listed to be properly and regularly maintained.
Which products should be used for maintenance?
TO REMOVE SO-CALLED “ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTANTS”: PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the profiles regularly prevents the dirt from adhering to the painted surface and possibly burning in. The best way to tackle dirt and pollution is with VB-CLEANER. The particularly high-quality composition of this product ensures that the paint layer is cleaned thoroughly.
At the same time as applying VB-CLEANER a protective layer is applied, with this cleaner containing natural carnauba wax so that it stays clean much longer.
PREVENTION OF DISCOLOURATION: ANNUAL MAINTENANCE
After thorough cleaning as described above, the VB-RENEWER is applied. This product features a UV/IR blocker to prevent discolouration and ageing and give the profiles back its deep sheen.
